What is a good free online game?

I am looking for a free online game that is not a MMORPG, just a RPG. Something with a story, great customization, and good gameplay. I know this is a tall order but maybe someone can help. I would say something like fable, dragon age, or oblivion. I am not excepting anything as good as these but like them.What is a good free online game?

It's hard to recommend any specific MMO game, because everyone has a different taste in games. A game I love you may hate. good things can't be free. quality is money. like if you want a ferrari you need to pay lots of money for it but if you want a free car you will only get a bike, a crappy bike, with no wheels, and no steer.
