This is a very good confifuration that should meet your needs. I just have one recommendation that will definately help out your system. The 5470 is an okay card but it is very mediocre. It might do blender but you may run into playback issue, etc. It's a very weak card that retails for only about $50. Plus, if you upgrade, you have a capability to play some basic games like Sims 3 if you really want to. Go with whatever the next size up is.

Actually, I beleive the next one up is the GTS 240. Buy the cheapest card from Dell and you'll see the GTS 240 is $130 more. Instead or buying through Dell, get an ATi 5750 on your own for about $130 off Amazon, Newegg, TigerDirect, etc. The 5750 is much better than your current card and the GTS 240 as well. Dell has to mark up the prices to make profit so just buy the 5750 yourself and install it for best results with a mid-range card for the cheapest price.Good desktop for gaming/blending?
If you don't have much of a budget limit, try Alienware, their computers are wicked looking and are known for being extremely fast.
