1. Try Bandicam. You can upload the recorded file to YouTube without converting because the recoded file size is much smaller than Fraps.

for examples)

- Fraps: 300MB

- Bandicam: 15~25MB

To get 720p video for YouTube, go to Video settings menu of Bandicam, and choose "YouTube (720p)" preset.

2. If you want to edit the video with Camtasia, choose "For Edit Premiere/Sony Vagas" preset of Bandicam. See http://www.gamerecordingprogram.com/faqs鈥?/a>Video editing software to record gameplay and make video to put on youtube?

Video editing software to record gameplay and make video to put on youtube?
Hi, guys, if you want to record gameplay videos then add music in them then upload onto youtube, that's easy, I usually use Youtube Movie Maker to do that, with it you can directly record the computer desktop screen videos when your playing your game on computer, then you can edit the recorded videos on your computer and upload on youtube, just run Youtube Movie Maker, then click record video button on Youtube Movie Maker to start record the screen video, then run game on computer, once record complete, you can edit the recorded videos on Youtube Movie Maker, such as crop, cut, add music or texts, etc, at last press "Publish to Youtube" to upload the edited video onto Youtube. You can download it from makeyoutubevideo.com, easy to use, hope it can help you.
