Please help with Dragon Age: Orgins?

I want to play Dragon Age but I know nothing about it.So would someone tell me what it is like.Does it play like Mass Effect or Oblivilon.Whats the gameplay like and is it really that good.ThanksPlease help with Dragon Age: Orgins?
puts a lot of importance on talking to each of your party, there is a fair amount of side quest not as many i i had hoped but enough to give you some freedom, combat can be very enjoyable or slow and boring depending On what kind of character build you have. ive played it so many times and i have found out that the best and most fun character is the mage and once you get the arcane warrior upgrade you will be so much stronger.Please help with Dragon Age: Orgins?
I bought it a while back and i quickly realized that the gameplay is slow but the items you can obtain come way too fast. You also have to go to multiple locations and get the assistance of there people. Some of the locations are a breeze and others are tough to the point where you have to go look it up on the computer... Which sucks.
